Trustpilot Pricing and Trustpilot Cost for a SaaS Company
What every Trustpilot plan costs per domain, what pushes a quote above list price, and when a SaaS company should pay for Trustpilot instead of a software review profile.

A priority listing is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, and includes a review profile, an alternatives page and a dofollow link.
Submit your product See what a listing includesShort answer. Trustpilot has a free plan with 50 review invitations a month. Paid plans start at $99 a month (Starter), then $319 (Plus) and $799 (Premium), each per domain, billed annually on a 12 month contract. Enterprise is quoted by sales. A SaaS company on Plus pays about $3,828 in its first year before any add ons.
Trustpilot is one of the few review platforms that publishes its prices, and the list is short. What the list does not tell you is how the bill grows: every price is per domain, every paid plan is a year long commitment, and the quote you get back depends on your traffic and revenue. For a software company the bigger question sits behind the price. B2B software buyers rarely check Trustpilot before they sign. Consumers and small businesses buying self serve often do.
We run a software review directory, so we compare these platforms for a living. Below is what each Trustpilot plan costs, what it unlocks, what a SaaS company tends to pay in year one, and when the money is better spent somewhere else.

Trustpilot pricing by plan
These figures are read from Trustpilot's own pricing page as of October 2026. The "from" prices are floors. Trustpilot says the final quote considers site traffic, business size per domain and annual revenue.
| Plan | Price per domain | First year minimum | Invitations a month | Users | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 | 1 | Claim the profile, reply to and flag reviews |
| Starter | From $99 a month, billed annually | $1,188 | 100 | 1 | New small business customers up to $5M revenue, one domain |
| Plus | From $319 a month, billed annually | $3,828 | 300 | 3 | Growing brands, up to 3 domains, all integrations, 14 day trial |
| Premium | From $799 a month, billed annually | $9,588 | 1,000 | 10 | Teams that want a customer success manager and deeper analytics |
| Enterprise | Quote from sales | Quote | Unlimited | Up to 1,000 | Large multi brand companies |
The first year minimum column is simply the monthly floor times twelve, because every paid contract runs 12 months. If your quote comes back higher than the floor, that column is where you start negotiating from, not where you end up.
How much does Trustpilot cost per month?
Trustpilot costs $0 a month on the free plan and from $99, $319 or $799 a month per domain on Starter, Plus and Premium. Those monthly figures are billed annually under a 12 month commitment, so a paid plan is really a yearly purchase of $1,188, $3,828 or $9,588 at the floor, before add ons or extra domains.
Trustpilot's page also mentions that you can select a monthly or annual billing cycle when you enhance a plan. The contract length stays twelve months either way. Paying monthly spreads the cash out; it does not let you walk away in month three.
What pushes a Trustpilot quote above the list price
Three things move the number, and two of them catch software companies out.
- Domains. Every price is per domain, and each domain is priced separately. A SaaS company with a marketing site, an app subdomain on its own domain and a second product brand can be looking at three quotes, not one.
- Traffic and revenue. Trustpilot's quote "considers things like site traffic, business size per domain, and annual revenue." A product with a lot of free signups and a big marketing site gets priced off that traffic, even if only a small share of it pays.
- Add on modules. Integrations, extra widgets and insight modules sit on top of the base plan. The Starter plan includes two widgets and one user; you outgrow both quickly once marketing, support and product all want access.
Independent buyer data lines up with that. Vendr, which tracks software purchases, reports a median of $10,800 a year across 79 Trustpilot purchases, and says most businesses on a paid plan spend between $3,000 and $30,000 a year. That is a wide band, and the per domain pricing is the main reason it is so wide.
Is Trustpilot worth it for a SaaS company?
Trustpilot is worth it for a SaaS company that sells self serve to consumers or very small businesses, where a buyer pays by card on the pricing page and may search your brand plus "reviews" first. It is rarely worth it for B2B software sold through demos, because those buyers check G2, Capterra and peer referrals, not Trustpilot.
Here is the split we see in practice:
- Good fit: prosumer apps, creator tools, consumer finance and AI tools with a card checkout, VPNs, website builders. Their buyers behave like ecommerce shoppers and Trustpilot stars carry real weight with them.
- Weak fit: sales led B2B software, vertical SaaS for regulated industries, developer infrastructure. The people approving the purchase read analyst notes, G2 grids and peer reviews. A Trustpilot score is noise to them, and a run of billing complaints can do more harm than the badge does good.
A practical rule. If more than half your new revenue comes through a self serve checkout, test Trustpilot Starter or a Plus trial. If most of it comes through demos, put the same budget into a software review profile that ranks for your product name and your competitors' "alternatives" searches. Our G2 alternatives price comparison covers where that budget goes furthest.
Trustpilot vs software review sites for SaaS vendors
The table below compares what a software vendor pays for visibility on the platforms buyers actually consult. G2 figures come from G2's FY26 pricing guide, covered in detail in our G2 pricing breakdown.
| Platform | Entry paid price | Contract | Audience | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot Starter | $99 a month per domain | 12 months | Consumers and small business shoppers | Self serve B2C and prosumer SaaS |
| G2 Starter | $299 a month or $2,999 the first year | Monthly or annual | B2B software buyers | B2B SaaS selling to mid market |
| Capterra PPC | From $2.00 a click, about $500 a month in practice | Monthly budget | SMB software buyers | SMB tools with a known trial to paid rate |
| SaaS Reviews priority listing | $49 a month, or $288 a year | Monthly or annual | Buyers comparing SaaS and AI tools | Early stage SaaS that needs a ranking profile |
None of these replaces the others completely. A B2C app can run Trustpilot for shopper trust and still want a software profile for the people who search "your product alternatives" before they switch. The question is which one gets the first dollar.
List your SaaS for $49 a month
What you get on the free Trustpilot plan
The free plan is more useful than most vendors assume, and it is where every SaaS company should start. You get a claimed profile, 50 automated review invitations a month, a widget to collect reviews, the ability to reply to and flag reviews, and a performance overview. When you hit 50 invitations, sending stops until the next month; the account itself stays active.
What you do not get is the marketing side: custom profile branding, downloadable assets for ads, extra widgets to show your TrustScore on the site, and the analytics modules. Those are the reasons companies upgrade. If you only want a credible profile that exists when someone searches your name, free covers it. If you want to collect reviews and display them on your own pricing page without a 12 month contract, a dedicated tool that lets you collect and display customer reviews on your own site is often the cheaper route.
How to keep a Trustpilot bill down
- Price one domain first. Put the product that sells self serve on the contract and leave the others on free profiles until the first one proves itself.
- Use the Plus trial before you sign. Plus has a 14 day free trial. Send real invitations during it and count how many turn into reviews. That conversion rate is the number that tells you whether 300 invitations a month is worth $319.
- Ask for invitations at the success moment. A review request right after a customer's first exported report or first paid month gets far better reviews than one sent at signup. Better reviews matter more than more invitations.
- Put the renewal date in the calendar. Paid plans are 12 month commitments. Read the notice period in your order form and set a reminder well ahead of it, so the decision to renew is yours.
- Do not double pay for the same buyer. If your buyers are businesses, a Trustpilot Premium contract and a G2 Professional contract are chasing the same person. Pick the platform your buyer checks.
Trustpilot pricing FAQ
How much does Trustpilot cost?
Trustpilot costs nothing on its free plan. Paid plans start at $99 a month for Starter, $319 a month for Plus and $799 a month for Premium, all per domain and billed annually on a 12 month contract. Enterprise is priced by sales. Quotes rise with site traffic, business size, annual revenue, extra domains and add on modules.
Does Trustpilot have a free plan?
Yes. Trustpilot's free plan lets a business claim its profile, send 50 automated review invitations a month, reply to and flag reviews, and use a widget to collect reviews. No credit card is required. When the 50 invitations run out, you wait for the next month or upgrade to a paid plan.
Is Trustpilot a monthly or yearly contract?
Trustpilot paid plans are 12 month commitments. The page lists prices per month but states that all contracts are a 12 month commitment, and the headline prices are billed annually. You can choose a monthly billing cycle for some setups, but that changes how you pay, not how long you are committed.
Why is Trustpilot so expensive?
Trustpilot feels expensive because each price is per domain and the quote scales with traffic and revenue, so a company with several sites or a large free user base pays well above the $99 floor. Vendr's buyer data puts the median paid contract at $10,800 a year.
What is a cheaper alternative to Trustpilot for SaaS?
For a B2B SaaS company, a cheaper alternative to Trustpilot is a profile on software review sites, where business buyers actually compare tools. A priority listing here is $49 a month, and free profiles on G2 and Capterra cost nothing. For collecting reviews on your own site, a dedicated review widget tool is usually cheaper than a Trustpilot contract.
If your buyers are businesses comparing software, start where they compare. See every option side by side on our software review sites comparison, or check what the transacting SaaS marketplaces charge per sale before you commit budget to any of them.
