Is Acunote legit or a scam?

Acunote is a real company that sells through its own site at acunote.com. This directory has not flagged it as a scam, but a listing cannot prove a vendor is safe for your data or your budget. Most software scams run through lookalike domains and fake resellers, so run these checks before you sign.

1.Buy only on acunote.com and check the checkout page shows the same company name.
2.If it will touch customer or company data, ask for a SOC 2 Type II report or a completed security questionnaire.
3.Start on monthly billing or a paid pilot before you commit to an annual contract.
4.Pay by card or invoice. A vendor asking for a wire or crypto up front is a red flag.
5.Read the low-star reviews first, then compare Acunote alternatives.
